How do I add a Teaching Assistant (TA) to my UNI eLearning section?
 
Instructors may request to have a Teacher Assistant added to their Blackboard/WebCT section by filling out the suport form located at: https://www.uni.edu/elearning/help/campushelp.html.

Please include the following for the user you would like to add:

User information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • UID Number
  • Course Number
  • User role (auditor, teaching assistant, designer, instructor) For more information on user roles, please visit: Blackboard/WebCT User Roles

NOTE: Registration verification is completed on each Student add. Voice confirmation is required before enrolling users in a Teaching Assistant, Designer or Instructor role.

 
Teaching Assistant Settings
Instructor/Designers can set Teaching Assistant access to certain tools.
 
  1. In the Build tab under Designer Tools, click Manage Course.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Under Administartion, click Teaching Assistant Settings
  4. A screen similar to the image below will appear. Set the parameters to the desired value, and click Save Values.
