The column type associated with the UserID field is "Calculated" and the text file export ignores calculated fields. In order to export the column for User Id change the "Column Type" to alphanumeric by following these steps:
- Enter the Gradebook. Click on "Gradebook Options" and then proceed to "Column Settings"
- Locate the UserID field and click the "Calc" link in the row labeled "Type"
- Enter the appropriate information in the "Convert Column Type" dialogue box (alphanumeric is recommended).
Don't be alarmed if you don't see any information on the conversion confirmation page the missing calculation is causing that report to be incorrect. You will now be able to export the UserID filed after the column type is changed to alphanumeric.
